Roger Tobolt collection of records related to Southwest Chicago community organizations, 1936-1990.

Newsletters, campaign materials, certificates, notes, phonograph recordings, etc. collected by Roger Tobolt. The collection includes newsletters from miscellaneous Southwest Side community organizations and churches; materials from the Latino Institute of Chicago; campaign materials from Virginia Martinez's 1986 race for alderman of the 25th Ward, including memos, speeches, flyers, and copies of petitions. The collection also includes Slovenian American civic material collected and generated by Ludwig Leskovar and Louis Novak; Chicago Public Schools certificates for Michael Misichko; and papers from the Peoples Gas Light and Coke Company (Chicago), including plans of work and notifications to and from the City of Chicago regarding gas installation-related damages, 1990-1991. The collection also has miscellaneous papers from the Joseph Jacob Jungman School Advisory Council, 1971-1978, and from activist groups in the Pilsen neighborhood from the 1980s. There are also two 33 1/3 RPM phonograph recordings called " I Lift Up my Soul: St. Mary Star of the Sea Choir" and "Queen of Peace High School."
